Borderlands Leadership School successfully conducted a half day Team Building Training Program for UNHCR on 10th May, 2019 at Landmark Forest Resort, Sauraha Chitwan, Nepal. All the 48 participants assembled at resort premises for program introduction and started their team building program with experiential learning process followed by tone settings and ice breaking activities.
Hereafter, the group was divided into four groups for their trust and team building activities respectively. The event was highly participatory as the program approach based on technology of participation (TOP) and all participants including the Borderlands team thoroughly enjoyed the program. The major theme of the event was building trust, motivation, effective communication, leave legacy and having fun. The program ended with collective debriefing with ORID (Objective, Reflective, Interpretative, Decision level) process.
In spite of hot and humid Chitwan, with astonishing energy and excitement that the team engaged themselves into activities in an open ground for more than half of the program was an achievement, a perfect example of being of a strong and a perfect team. The program was highly successful in achieving the objectives set by UNHCR and the borderlands team.
