For the very enthusiastic students of the Bhaktapur NIST School, The Borderlands facilitated 2
Nights 3 Days leadership development and river learning program at the Borderlands Eco
Adventure Resort from 21 st – 23 rd Dec, 2023.
The main objective of the program was to provide the project based learning blending with the
school curriculum.
The highlights of the 3 days long program were fun activities with learnings, mind – wellness,
hiking, river water quality checkup, explore the surrounding environment, singing and dancing.
This program helped the students to learn many things about the river, environment, watershed,
and rural community including how to develop the leadership skill, importance of
communication, team bonding and trust beyond the class room environment in a fun way.
