On Aug 25, 2024, The Borderlands had the privileged of conducting a dynamic and impactful team – building activities for Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd. The session, held at Gokarna Forest Resort, Thali with 20 members, was specifically tailored to focus on the pillars of effective teamwork. Primary objective was to help Syakar Trading Company strengthen its internal team dynamics by enhancing key skills. The day’s activities were blend of experiential learning, interactive challenges and reflective discussions.
The team-building session was led by Mr. Anil Chitrakar, a senior team-building facilitator, in collaboration with Borderlands facilitators, Mr. Sudhan Lamsal and Mr. Ajay Pun.
The session began with ice-breaking activities designed to set a positive tone and encourage participants to step out of their comfort zones. To build trust among team members, we then facilitated trust fall exercises, where participants relied on each other to overcome challenges and placed their trust in their colleagues. This empowering activity demonstrated the strength of their collective support.
Mr. Anil Chitrakar enriched the team-building sessions by addressing key topics such as the characteristics of a functional team, the fear of conflict, and the tendency to avoid conflicts within teams. He emphasized that to effectively resolve these issues, clear and open communication is crucial for the smooth operation of any team.
Syakar Trading Company’s energy and enthusiasm were exceptional throughout the session. Participants were fully engaged, approaching each activity with a positive and open attitude. By the end of the day, the team had not only gained valuable skills but also deepened their relationships, creating a more cohesive and supportive work environment.
