The iDE Nepal Annual Review Planning Meeting took place from December 5 to 7, 2024, at the Soltee Westend Resort in Nagarkot, with the theme “Renewing Synergy: Reconnecting, Realigning, and Reimagining Impact.” This gathering aimed to foster a renewed sense of purpose among team members, strengthen connections, and align efforts to enhance synergy across individual roles and organizational strategies. The meeting included various activities designed to promote collaboration, creativity, and effective learning among participants.

The first day focused on establishing a foundation for the theme through introductions and motivational sessions led by senior facilitator Anil Chitrakar. He emphasized the importance of viewing the meeting as an investment in the organization’s future. Participants engaged in brainstorming sessions where they created postage stamps representing women entrepreneurs supported by iDE Nepal. This interactive exercise encouraged sharing success stories and fostered camaraderie among team members. Updates on ongoing programs, such as food nutrition initiatives and market development strategies, were also shared, providing insights into iDE Nepal’s impact on local communities.

On the second day, the focus shifted to realigning team efforts. A mind-wellness session was conducted to promote mental health and collaboration among staff. Participants engaged in energizer activities and discussions about market analysis for future programs. Sessions on finance, compliance, and human resources were held to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with program activities. Team-building exercises further reinforced communication and problem-solving skills essential for fostering a cohesive work environment.

The final day was centered on the theme “Reimagining Impact.” The program was wrapped up with an interactive activity called “Giant Steps”, to illustrate the development of synergy within the team. This was followed by a “Spark Innovation” session, where participants brainstormed ways to empower women entrepreneurs.

Throughout the event, participants were encouraged to share experiences openly, fostering a sense of community and trust. The diverse methodology employed during the meeting included presentations, practical exercises, and creative activities that enriched discussions and enhanced learning outcomes. The overall aim was to create actionable ideas that would drive innovation and impact within iDE Nepal’s initiatives moving forward.
